La importancia del Canal de Suez radica en que conecta el Mar Mediterr\u00e1neo con el Mar Rojo, en Egipto. Gracias a este paso, los barcos ahorran m\u00e1s de 40% de la distancia que tendr\u00edan que recorrer por otras v\u00edas para transportar 30% de los contenedores de todo el mundo.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Factores que facilitaron su desbloqueo<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Por cada d\u00eda del bloqueo en el Canal de Suez, m\u00e1s de 60 barcos con carga, algunos con ganado y buques petroleros y cisterna, se sumaron a los cuellos de botella alrededor del mundo que ya hab\u00edan sido provocados por la pandemia de Covid-19, lo que caus\u00f3 p\u00e9rdidas de miles de millones de d\u00f3lares y estres\u00f3 a\u00fan m\u00e1s las cadenas de suministros.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En un inicio se hab\u00eda advertido que pasar\u00edan semanas antes de que pudiera moverse, pero una afortunada combinaci\u00f3n entre el buen clima, la marea alta y el equipo de especialistas encargado de las maniobras lograron desencallarlo en s\u00f3lo seis d\u00edas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Una vez que se logr\u00f3 desencallar el barco, se necesitaron s\u00f3lo cinco d\u00edas, de acuerdo con la Autoridad del Canal de Suez, para que pasaran los 422 barcos que terminaron formados tras el buque Ever Give.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Impacto del bloqueo en el Canal de Suez en Am\u00e9rica del Norte<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Para Am\u00e9rica del Norte, el impacto no ser\u00e1 directo, pero este retraso representa un factor que se suma al <\/span><a href=\"\/?p=14718\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">estr\u00e9s que ya sufren las cadenas de suministro<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> por el cambio en la demanda de productos tras el Covid-19, el desequilibrio en contenedores, la congesti\u00f3n en los puertos y la escasez de conductores.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En el caso del consumidor final, esto se traducir\u00e1 en un ligero incremento en el precio de combustibles y algunos productos de consumo diario, como podr\u00eda ser el papel higi\u00e9nico y el caf\u00e9. Adem\u00e1s, podr\u00eda haber retraso en el abastecimiento de derivados del petr\u00f3leo, algunos qu\u00edmicos y productos que se ensamblan en Europa para despu\u00e9s enviarse a Estados Unidos o Canad\u00e1.
