Los transportistas quieren tener sus remolques cargados en todo momneto con carga lista para ser entregada porque un remolque rodando y cargado es m\u00e1s rentable que un remolque cami\u00f3n vac\u00edo. En ese sentido, un <em>headhaul<\/em> tambi\u00e9n se puede definir como el tramo de la ruta comercial que tiene el mayor volumen de remolques y la ruta de env\u00edo que genera mayores ingresos desde el remitente hasta el receptor.<\/p>\n<p>\u00bfQu\u00e9 caracteriza a un mercado <em>headhaul<\/em>?<\/p>\n<p>Los mercados <em>headhaul<\/em> se producen cuando la demanda de transporte de carga por parte de los embarcadores es mayor que la oferta\u00a0 y de capacidad de carga ofrecida por los proveedores de carga. En este mercado:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Los transportistas tienen muchas opciones de salida<\/li>\n<li>Las tarifas de transporte de carga son altas<\/li>\n<li>Es favorable para los transportistas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>\u00bfQu\u00e9 es <em>Backhaul<\/em>?<\/h2>\n<p>Un <em>backhaul<\/em> es un viaje de regreso por la misma ruta. Si el <em>headhaul<\/em> fue del punto A al punto B, el <em>backhaul<\/em> se realizar\u00e1 desde el punto B al punto A. Esto ocurre cuando:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Los transportistas deben llegar a un destino para comenzar un viaje <em>headhaul<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>Los transportistas realizan un viaje de regreso con un remolque vac\u00edo, despu\u00e9s de la entrega dela mercac\u00eda de ida.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Este es el peor escenario para un transportista porque una carga vac\u00eda significa p\u00e9rdida de dinero. Adem\u00e1s, el transporte de<em>deadheads<\/em> puede ser peligroso para los conductores de camiones. Dado que los camiones muertos pesan la mitad que los camiones completos, los camiones no est\u00e1n anclados por el peso de la carga y pueden volverse peligrosos si hay mal tiempo.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Mercados de backhaul y backhaul en Norteam\u00e9rica<\/h2>\n<p>En Am\u00e9rica del Norte, por lo general, existe una demanda asim\u00e9trica de servicios de env\u00edo entre Canad\u00e1 y los EE.
