Con la popularidad de los m\u00e9todos \u00abjust in time\u00bb y debido a la necesidad de disminuir el tiempo que los productos pasan en la cadena de suministro,\u00a0 el uso de cross-docking\u00a0 ha aumentado en Norteam\u00e9rica.<\/p>\n<h2>\u00bfQu\u00e9 es cross-docking?<\/h2>\n<p>Es la transferencia de bienes y materiales de un remolque o cami\u00f3n inbond a un remolque o cami\u00f3n outbond, sin que los bienes se almacenen. De esta forma, la mercanc\u00eda cruza los \u00abdocks\u00bb, desde el \u00e1rea de recepci\u00f3n hasta el \u00e1rea de embarque sin ser almacenada.<\/p>\n<p>Cross-docking es una estrategia probada de la cadena de suministro utilizada por fabricantes de diferentes industrias en Am\u00e9rica del Norte, como la automotriz, minorista, productos qu\u00edmicos, alimentos y bebidas.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/mexicomlogistics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/cross-docking-mexicom-logistics-laredo-montreal-hebron-2.jpg\" width=\"799\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>\u00bfCon qu\u00e9 tipo de mercanc\u00eda puede aplicarse la estrategia cross-docking?<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Paletizada y f\u00e1cil de manejar.<\/li>\n<li>Productos con plazos de entrega cortos<\/li>\n<li>Bienes con demanda predecible<\/li>\n<li>Productos que tienen fuentes de suministro confiables<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/mexicomlogistics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/cross-docking-mexicom-logistics-laredo-montreal-hebron-.jpg\" width=\"801\" height=\"481\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2>Los tipos de Cross-docking m\u00e1s comunes<\/h2>\n<h3>Consolidaci\u00f3n<\/h3>\n<p>Esta operaci\u00f3n fusiona peque\u00f1as cargas de productos entrantes de diferentes compa\u00f1\u00edas en una carga de salida m\u00e1s grande o en una carga de cami\u00f3n completo.<\/p>\n<h3>Desconsolidaci\u00f3n<\/h3>\n<p>La desconsolidaci\u00f3n es el proceso de dividir una sola carga de producto entrante en varias cargas salientes m\u00e1s peque\u00f1as y procesar esos env\u00edos para la entrega final, generalmente directamente a un cliente.<\/p>\n<h4>Ejemplo de consolidaci\u00f3n, desconsolidaci\u00f3n y cross-docking:<\/h4>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/mexicomlogistics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/cross-docking-deconsolidacion-y-consolidacion.jpg\" width=\"843\" height=\"838\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Diferentes\u00a0 empresas manufactureras de Quebec y Ontario necesitan enviar peque\u00f1as cargas de sus productos a sus clientes ubicados en diferentes lugares de M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n<p>El env\u00edo de cargas peque\u00f1as en un servicio de cami\u00f3n completo o FTL,\u00a0 costar\u00eda m\u00e1s que pagar por un servicio\u00a0 LTL. Por lo que contratan a un expedidor de carga para un servicio LTL, que se encargar\u00e1 del transporte de las cargas y el cross-docking.<\/p>\n<p>El expedidor de carga se encarga de la recolecci\u00f3n de las cargas en Ontario y en Quebec utilizando dos camiones diferentes, los cuales transportan ambas cargas a un centro de distribuci\u00f3n ubicado estrat\u00e9gicamente en Hebr\u00f3n, Kentucky. En el centro de distribuci\u00f3n, se consolidan las cargas, en una sola carga que se dirigir\u00e1 a Laredo.
